I don’t even know how to describe this entry’s video. The Danielson Famile is so strange and inexplicable, but I feel obligated to cover as many facets of Cornerstone Festival as I can and at the turn of the century, The Danielson Famile was pretty popular stuff at Cornerstone. Sadly, this video doesn’t have Daniel Smith playing from inside the giant tree (which he called “the tree that bore the fruits of the spirit”) but it *does* have the whole family dressed as doctors and nurses, so there’s that.

(and yes, like every other hipster post about the Danielson Famile, I’m obligated to mention this is where Sufjan Stevens got his start playing in the band before going solo with his own work, but he is not in the band in this video.)
