I will never pass up an opportunity to go to the Appalachians.  My family are all from there, so it&#8217;s always a trip back to my roots.  I spent most of my childhood rambling across the mountain roads to various state parks and roadside diners.  I&#8217;ve hiked many miles around, over, and across the ridges here.  Amicalola Falls is also where Adriene and got engaged.   It&#8217;s always good to return there.<\/p>\n<p>Combine that with an above average (well, above average for me) round of golf and I have to say I enjoyed the last couple days quite a bit.  Hopefully, we&#8217;ll return to the mountains in a couple weeks for one of our other favorite traditions, Bert&#8217;s Pumpkin Farm.
