Oy. It's 2:00 PM in the afternoon and I've just woken up. I think we got home from Auburn at 4 AM, absolutely delirious from the win and sleep-deprivation.

I was so amazed. Not only did Georgia Tech go down to Auburn and beat them, but they were clearly the better team on the field. Georgia Tech chewed up yardage on the run and moved the ball in the air with few mistakes (and Clavin Johnson was a total non-factor in the second half) Auburn's run was totally shut down. About the only thing I could complain about was the pass defense which allowed Auburn to get a lot of yardage, but save two poor arm tackles, only give up two touchdowns.

Auburn was put in a tough spot early by giving up the running game and asking their quarterback, playing in his first game ever, to win the game. I don't know if you can ask a QB in his first game to throw the ball 40 times and not have some mistakes, and there were. Tech did a good job too of taking the crowd out of the game by scoring early, too.

Too bad this series is ending now. Auburn is never going to want to play us again.

Looking forward to Carolina next week!
