A musical project, of sorts.
My 4G iPod mini is almost full. (When I got it three years ago, I swore that I didn’t think it was possible to fill up 4G worth of music. Guess I was wrong. Never mind that most of my CD’s still haven’t been imported into iTunes.)
Anyway, it’s about time to rotate some stuff off of it. Since I’m completely incapable of deciding what to remove, I’ve decided that I must listen to everything on it on shuffle from beginning to end. No skipping.
My reasoning is this (similar to Mike’s movie project a few months back): if I skip it, I must not like it enough to keep it on my iPod. And maybe this will free up some room to stick some of my old CD’s on there that are currently gathering dust in my CD holder.
In other news, I head out on Saturday to NC to visit some friends, and Jeff is headed out on Monday to Cornerstone.
(What does one wear to a Kelly Clarkson concert?)

i plan on wearing a family force 5 tshirt, FF5 wristband, elvis glasses, and a clemson hat to the show.
why don’t you post what you have on your ipod and let your blog readers tell you what to take off?

That would require a LOT of typing.
(And I am NOT sitting next to you at the concert if you’re dressed like that.)

I have no problem filling up my 4GB nano. Of course, my library is up about 20GB at this point.
As for what to wear: may I suggest a badge of shame? Failing that, a shirt that says, “I don’t like Kelly Clarkson, but I love the people I’m with”?

I was thinking more along the lines of a shirt that proclaims “I AM NOT YOUR DEMOGRAPHIC.”

I’m at the same place with my 4GB mini - I usually got through and clear out stuff that I don’t immediately want to listen to, and that gives me about a quarter of the space back.
and, you should of course wear an ‘I heart Kelly Clarkson’ tshirt - to fit in, of course

I’m starting to hit that issue with my 20G iPod… now I’m thinking I should trade up to a 30G or 60G…

Yeah, Chris … I would need a 60GB just to keep up with my rate of acquisition for the next, oh, 30 months.
