Happy Freaking New Year
(Nine days late!)
So, it’s 2006. Doesn’t feel much different than 2005, but then again, the year is still young.
Now’s the time of year when everyone makes resolutions on how to be a better person. Not to be an outcast, I have some as well. I actually kept my resolution last year (my bed was made every day in 2005, and we’re 9-0 for 2006 so far!)
So, here’s what I’m going to work on this year:
- Exercise at least three times a week (so far, so good)
- Eat chocolate only on weekends (hey, I’m a woman. I can’t give it up for good)
- Balance my checkbook weekly against my bank’s website (so far, so good)
And there you have it.
So, help me stay on top of things.

How am I going to hold you accountable? I am not doing bed-checks, woman.

No, Scott, we can’t. That’s my main criteria. If you don’t make your bed, I can’t hang out with you anymore.
Sorry.

its just as well. i can’t really be friends with people that are chronic bedmakers. even though they say they understand how i don’t believe in making my bed everyday, i get the feeling that they think i’m not good enough. not that it makes much difference in the end, we all sleep in our beds.

That’s okay. You’re still wrong.

Dear Adriene:
I think you should update everyone on your awesome progress to date. [If for no other reason than for you to jump inside WordPress, which I just upgraded for you. ;)]
